One of my "Ideas" A shawl

With more then 20 yarns of different colors.
The scarf as a "D" shape fits very well on the shoulders,
I found very amazing with a chunk of yarn between my fingers to knit with. Although I was working with a thick sizes  of homemade knitting needs and yarn  in my fingers, the job was not that easy, I had to struggle a lot.

The result is very fine. If you like one of my work you can of course buy it, for the money transaction I have got an account with Pay-pal or you can oder trough "Tan-tine's shop, vondir.de" .

Raffia cloth - Tote bag

I made this beautiful tote bag with a piece of raffia cloth and for sewing, of course I used raffia fibers and for the handles I used the raffia cloth stripes, the bag hasn't got any lining inside. This bag is very easy to make and I had a lot of fun by making it. I have got plenty of these wonderful , beautiful Bakuba raffia dance cloth, and just don't know what to do with them, that why I started making stuff out of them. anyway, who ever has landed on my blog, enjoy the pictures and please leave a comment :-)

African Raffia cloth, from the Democratic Republic Congo.

Just for fun! I just dressed him as a warrior. This  wonderful, handmade Kuba dance cloth from the Dem. Rep. Congo for dance skirt Panel is approximatively 8 meters long, so to make the skirt, I folded the cloth and sew all around the waist  until I got to the size I needed, then I wrapped it around the mannequin, and secured it with some pins. The top part was easy, I only wrapped the short pieces of raffia cloth, secured them with pins. The belt is original.
